SOL and XRP ETFs See Strong Inflows Amid BTC, ETH Outflows
SOL and XRP ETFs attract strong inflows as BTC and ETH ETFs face major outflows last week.

- BTC and ETH spot ETFs saw large net outflows
- SOL and XRP ETFs recorded notable net inflows
- Investor interest is shifting toward alternative crypto ETFs
Altcoins Attract ETF Attention
In an interesting shift in the crypto ETF landscape, Solana (SOL) and Ripple (XRP) spot ETFs experienced notable net inflows last week, while the more dominant Bitcoin (BTC) and Ethereum (ETH) ETFs suffered major outflows. This pattern suggests a shift in investor sentiment, possibly indicating rising confidence in altcoins over the traditional market leaders.
BTC and ETH ETFs Lose Investor Support
Bitcoin spot ETFs saw outflows of approximately $497.05 million, while Ethereum ETFs recorded an even higher outflow of $643.97 million. These outflows could reflect concerns over short-term volatility, profit-taking by institutional investors, or a strategic move away from the two leading cryptocurrencies. The market sentiment around BTC and ETH may have cooled following recent regulatory or macroeconomic developments.
SOL and XRP ETFs Shine with Inflows
Contrary to BTC and ETH trends, Solana and XRP spot ETFs gained significant traction. SOL spot ETFs attracted $66.55 million, while XRP spot ETFs brought in a higher $82.04 million in net inflows. This uptick could signal growing institutional confidence in these altcoins, possibly due to their improving network activity, scalability, and clearer regulatory paths.
Moreover, XRP’s continued resilience despite legal battles and Solana’s growing adoption in DeFi and NFT ecosystems could be key reasons for these positive inflows. As investors seek new opportunities, altcoin ETFs might offer fresh diversification potential beyond BTC and ETH.
