Fanatics Launches Crypto Prediction Market Platform
Fanatics teams up with Crypto.com to debut a prediction market platform, entering the space alongside Polymarket and Kalshi.

- Fanatics partners with Crypto.com for a new prediction market
- Competes with established players like Polymarket and Kalshi
- Expands Fanatics’ footprint in the crypto and Web3 space
In a bold move blending sports, crypto, and finance, Fanatics, the well-known sports apparel and collectibles company, has partnered with Crypto.com to launch a brand-new prediction market platform. This collaboration marks Fanatics’ official entry into the rapidly growing world of on-chain forecasting and crypto-powered speculation.
Prediction markets allow users to place bets or “trade” on the outcomes of future events — such as election results, sports outcomes, or economic trends — using crypto or fiat currency. By teaming up with Crypto.com, Fanatics is tapping into the Web3 ecosystem to create a more decentralized, transparent, and user-driven prediction experience.
A New Challenger to Polymarket and Kalshi
Fanatics is not alone in this space. The company will go head-to-head with well-established prediction market platforms like Polymarket, a crypto-native forecasting market known for its wide range of event topics, and Kalshi, which operates under the oversight of the Commodity Futures Trading Commission (CFTC) in the U.S.
However, Fanatics brings with it a major advantage: brand recognition and a massive user base through its presence in sports merchandising, trading cards, and fan engagement platforms. If Fanatics can successfully leverage its existing customer ecosystem, it may draw significant volume and attention away from its competitors.
Merging Sports, Crypto, and Speculation
The timing of this launch is strategic. As interest in both crypto and real-world asset tokenization grows, combining prediction markets with mainstream fan engagement is a natural next step. Fanatics already has a strong foothold in sports communities, and by introducing a prediction market, it can turn passive fans into active participants in forecasting outcomes.
Moreover, the integration with Crypto.com ensures that users will have a secure, seamless experience in trading predictions using crypto assets. The platform could soon feature event markets ranging from Super Bowl predictions to broader geopolitical questions, appealing to both sports fans and crypto-savvy users.
